It’s the end of the semester, but you haven’t managed to complete even 50% of your online course assignments! Haven’t we all been there? Online courses are flexible, but it’s easy to lose focus if you aren’t self –motivated. Don’t let this happen to you. Here are three tips to help you stay focused and complete assignments on time:
Switch off your phone, or disable all notifications while studying. Log off Facebook, Twitter, or other social media channels. You can probably keep your phone another room – out of sight, out of mind. Assign a separate study area. Leave the study area when you’re taking a break. That way your mind always associates the particular area with studies.
Keep a list of things you have to get done for the week and the day. Make a list of the deadlines, the weekly tasks, and other important notes to get everything done on time. Break a major assignment into small tasks to be completed every day. Stick to the instructor’s weekly schedule to make sure you don’t have to play catch-up later. Refer to the list at the end of every day to make sure you’re on track.
Identify things that only you can do and delegate the rest to a professional. For example, if you’re good at writing essays, but hate citations or referencing, hire a tutor to help you manage them. All that you have to do is to ask – ‘can you take my online class for me.’ Our instructors can help you complete all your assignments and even take tests for you. We can do one or all your assignments.
