It isn’t easy to take up online classes while working or managing other responsibilities. A typical undergraduate course requires around 3 to 4 hours of dedicated work every day. Not everyone can commit so much time and energy and are tempted to quit midway. If you are one among them, use these tips to stay motivated:
Do you find yourself drifting towards other things while doing a task? Are you often late to submit assignments, or make it just in the nick of time? If the answer to these questions is a yes, you probably have poor time management skills. But don’t lose heart! There are several applications to help you keep track of time and dates. Use them to mark deadlines and keep stay on top of things.
Sign up for a course that truly interests you. When we do things we love, we become more productive and enjoy the process as well. We are less likely to procrastinate and will complete assignments on time. Without passion, you may or may not complete a course, but with passion you’ll enjoy the journey as well.
More often than not people are reluctant or too proud to ask for help. As a result, they put too much pressure on themselves and end up missing deadlines. Rather than quit midway, it makes a lot of sense to hire a tutor and ask, ‘Can you take my online class?’
You don’t have to sacrifice fun for studies. But remember to plan things ahead. For example, if an assignment deadline is on the weekend, remember to complete the homework at least two days before the due date.
